It is year 2021. Warsaw has survived WW2 in its "Paris of the East state" with only minor destruction. Due to heavy fighting taking years in the Eastern Front, the allied forces got to Berlin first and granted the independece of Poland. Poland has been a western country for most of XXth century and has been a core state of the EU for years now. How would the city look in this althistory scenario? Would modernists tear down half of the city to build roads? Based on archival aerial images, urban planning knowledge and discussions we will take the 1939 road network and building locations all the way through modernism to create an ambitious project of rethinking Warsaw. We will vote over new projects, create alternative history and get people talking. Due to technical reasons the scale of the project is limited. This is as much an althistory project as it is a Cities: Skylines one.
