Description:

[This description is massively out of date.] Alright, so this is a city which is inspired by NYC, Chicago, etc. I don't really want highways running right through the center like in most US cities. I'm thinking avenues and boulevards, with a beltway (using highway roads) in the suburbs up north. There are seven districts currently: Bayside, Boardwalk/Pier, Central City, Expensive Suburbs, Middle Class Suburbs, Modern Offices + Apartments and a Commercial/Industrial District with some low income suburbs mixed in. The seven districts are distributed to four players like so: Player 1 (siro300104) - Central City, Player 2 (Painted Heptagon) - Bayside and Pier, Player 3 - Expensive and Middle Class Suburbs, Player 5 - Modern Offices + Apts., Player 6 (Denis) - Commercial/Industrial District and low income suburbs. It's a slightly modified version of the Lake Otha map, availiable on the workshop. I've got a collection with tons of assets and mods, though the need for some mods might be debatable: There's a compass mod in there, and a mod that adds different radio stations. I just put all of my mods into a collection, but that doesn't mean that they're all required. Just use common sense if you're deciding which ones to sub to. The highway are - as you can see - a mess. I figured they were most likely temporary anyway and would be replaced with avenues and boulevards later. The central station has already been placed, as well as the exit from one of the bridges into the city. I kinda planned the roads around that, so that was an important building to have in there. If everyone's cool with it, I'd suggest that the district borders are kind of fluid, so if a large building is between districts, it doesn't matter too much.
