How to create a Steam Workshop Collection?

Creating a Steam Workshop collection for Cities: Skylines is very simple. It is a quick and easy way to share mods and assets between city-builders without having to subscribe to the workshop items one by one. Follow this simple step-to-step guide to create your own Steam Workshop collection for Cities: Skylines.

  • Step 1: Access the Steam Community tab and press Workshop. Navigate to the Cities: Skylines Steam Workshop page.
  • Step 2: Under the Browse tab, press Collections. You will be directed to the Browse: Collections page.
  • Step 3: Press the Create Collection button on the right side of the page. Follow the instructions on the page to give your collection a name, select a branding image, etc. Press Save and Continue when finished.
  • Step 4: Add workshop items to your collection by pressing the + symbol to the left of a workshop item. Add a sorting option if applicable, then press Save and Continue when finished. (How to add all subscribed items to Steam Collections at once?)
  • Step 5: Choose a background image for your collection. If you intend to share the collection with others, make sure to set the visibility to Public or Friends Only. Press Publish at the top of the page when finished.
Congratulations! You have created a Steam Workshop collection for your Cities: Skylines mods and assets. Share the collection with your fellow city-builders for collaboration projects and more. Happy city-building!
